What is all the 'tweeting' about?
The New York Times calls Twitter "one of the fastest-growing phenomena on the Internet." TIME Magazine says, "Twitter is on its way to becoming the next killer app," and Newsweek noted that "Suddenly, it seems as though all the world's a-twitter." Twitter is basically a method for posting short snippets of information or updates to a list of followers which you can build yourself through marketing your account on these site. It is limited to 140 characters and for those of you who are already using Facebook regularly it is more or less the same as updating your 'status' field. It has been adopted by many celebrities as you might have heard in the news, Stephen Fry is by far the most popular of these with over 234,000 people currently following his regular daily updates. Many businesses and news organisations are now using twitter as an effective way to provide up to the minute updates on a range of subjects, You can see some of the businesses who are tweeting regularly here: http://twibs.com Follow us on twitter now - @jdapproach and @jzeun |
